What does Ecocert Cosmos Certification bring to the Epic skincare?
With an increasing number of skincare products being presented as “green” or “natural,” it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the beauty aisle.
We wanted to take the guesswork out of shopping for beauty products so that you can choose the products that are best for you without stress. It was important for us to have high-performance active ingredients within the Epic line, but they also had to be safe, ethical and eco-responsible for future generations. We focused our research on Canadian laboratories that could offer us ECOCERT ingredients because we knew that their rigorous standards could offer you peace of mind.
It also means that you can trust our commitment to the quality and integrity of every product in the Epic line and the environmentally sustainable methods we use to create them – and you don’t have to take our word for it.

What does this mean for the consumer?
When you buy one of our products, you can be sure that:
The ingredients are from renewable sources, manufactured using environmentally friendly processes and free of:
- GMOS
- Parabens
- Phenoxyethanol
- Nanoparticles
- Silicon
- PEGs
- Synthetic perfumes and dyes
- Ingredients of animal origin (unless naturally produced by them: milk, honey, beeswax, etc.).
At least 95% of the ingredients are of natural origin, and in those that also carry the “organic” label, at least 10% of the total weight of the ingredients must come from organic farming.
All our packaging is recyclable, from pumps to caps to bottles and boxes.
ECOCERT® also inspects the laboratory annually to ensure that they are ultra-diligent in meeting standards and maintaining an environmental plan that includes recycling, waste management and energy efficiency.
